Library Curbside Service FAQ
How does it work?
The library is happy to offer materials for checkout through our curbside service! Either place your hold online (for Matheson cardholders), call us at (262) 723-2678, or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to make a request for books, movies, music, or any other available library materials. You can see what we have in by visiting our online catalog HERE.
When the materials are ready for pickup, we’ll give you a call and place your request on a table located outside our parking lot entrance. You can then pick it up whenever you’re ready. Please make sure to keep practicing your social distancing and wait if another patron is picking up their items when you arrive.
Can I request materials from other libraries?
Not yet. For the time being, we can only deliver materials we have in the building. Interlibrary Loan is also suspended until further notice. If you need something that one of our partner libraries have available, please contact the directly…many of them are also resuming curbside service!
What about due dates?
We don’t want you to worry! We’ll be placing a due date on all materials of June 9th, but if we remain closed longer we’ll adjust this.
How about materials I already have checked out…should I return them?
We’re still encouraging everyone to keep their checked-out material until we reopen to the public. If you do end up returning things, we will place those items in quarantine for several days before we check them in.
