How do I reserve a meeting room or the Community Center?

Study Rooms – Matheson Memorial Library has six study rooms that seat 1-4 people.  To use, simply sign in on the clipboard outside each room. Study rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis. In our Youth Services area, we have a youth study room that is used for students working on projects, or meeting with a tutor, and a Quiet Room for nursing or any families or children that need a break.

Conference Rooms – The Library has two conference rooms: Conference Room One can accommodate 8-10 people, and Conference Room Two can accommodate 10-15. Municipal, state, federal, and other nonprofit groups can reserve the Mary Bray room with the library’s approval. Please call (262) 723-2678 to request this space.

The Mary Bray Room on the lower level seats 20 and is used primarily by the Walworth County Genealogical Society, which is a library within our library. This room is also used by the library’s book discussion groups and the Blue Lotus Meditation group. Municipal, state, federal, and other nonprofit groups can reserve the Mary Bray room with the library’s approval. Please call (262) 723-2678 to request this space.

The Community Center, which is adjacent to the Library, is available for nonprofit groups and private family gathering for a rental fee. For a full copy of the Community Center policy, click HERE.
