1st Saturday in June through 3rd week of August

Whether you have babies, toddlers, school-age kids, tweens, or teens, they can all enjoy reading this summer at the library!

Color in the attached reading logs at your own pace and stop by the library to pick up one activity kit per child each week.

Youth Summer Reading Challenge – Kids, tweens, and teens of all ages or families as a group.

Completed bookmarks can be turned in for passes, coupons, or shoe charms as well as being used as raffle tickets for weekly raffle prizes. You can turn in up to 5 bookmarks per child per week.

Tween & Teen Summer Reading – Tweens and teens ages 11 and up, in middle school and high school

Pick up a reading log and follow the instructions to earn weekly prizes.

Read and Grow

Do you like to listen to stories? Then it’s time to Read and Grow! Birth and up can join this program by picking up a folder in the youth services area and adding their name to a caterpillar on our wall. Watch your caterpillar grow as you read together with your grown-ups, friends, and family and earn prizes along the way, from stickers to a special reading bag, until your caterpillar turns into a butterfly! You can repeat this program as many times as you’d like.
