We have many opportunities for imaginative, collaborative, and educational play for all ages. Our three play areas are always open during library open hours and include a kitchen & barn, road carpet, and Lego walls and more in the Construction Corner. We also offer board games and card games for in-library use and you will find coloring supplies at the Youth Services Desk.

All ages can enjoy our monthly scavenger hunt, follow the Storywalk on the ramp, or join in one of our changing interactive activities. Listeners are invited to join our year-round reading program, Read and Grow, and summer reading is available from the first Saturday in June to the third Saturday in August.

Fine-Free Children’s and Young Adult Materials!

Children’s and young adult materials, owned by the Matheson Memorial Library, do not accrue overdue fines. Borrowers will be billed for materials which are long overdue and will be unable to check out materials until the overdue items have been paid for or returned.
