Need help learning how to use a smartphone, tablet or other new tech tool?<\/strong> Have questions about email, writing a document, or setting up a social media account?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The library is here to help! We offer free, 30-minute one-on-one, goal-based tech help by appointment, and if your issue is beyond our skills, we\u2019ll try to find outside help for you. We offer appointments on the following days\/times:<\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Mondays – 9:30 AM, 10:00 AM, and 10:30 AM.<\/li>\n
  • Tuesdays – 3:00 PM, 3:30 PM, and 4:00 PM.<\/li>\n
  • Wednesdays – 3:00 PM, 3:30 PM, and 4:00 PM.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Give us a call at (262) 723-2678<\/strong> to make your appointment. In order to make sure there are enough appointments for everyone, you can make a maximum of two appointments per month. If you\u2019re a new student, the librarian will work with you to figure out your goals in the first appointment. <\/span><\/p>\n

    Topics Librarians can help with: <\/b><\/h3>\n
      \n
    • Library orientation including a tour & website\/catalog overview<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Basics of using a computer (mouse and keyboard usage, basics of using the Internet, etc.) <\/span><\/li>\n
    • Using Libby to download eBooks and eAudiobooks<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Essentials of Microsoft Word, Excel, or PowerPoint<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Getting an email address<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Using email more effectively (i.e. attachments, folders, etc)<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Using the library\u2019s online research tools & databases<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Introduction to Facebook\/Twitter<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Basics of using a mobile device or tablet<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Things Librarians are NOT able to help with: <\/b><\/h3>\n
        \n
      • Advise or direct you regarding medical, legal, or financial decisions. This includes anything with credit cards or purchasing products online. <\/span><\/li>\n
      • Provide technical support for personal electronic devices (i.e. hardware\/software installation or setup, data recovery, virus\/malware removal, security settings, etc). We can only provide troubleshooting for library resources. <\/span><\/li>\n
      • Type or proofread documents.<\/span><\/li>\n
