LIBRARY ASSOCIATE-CIRCULATION<\/h1>\n

The newly-renovated Matheson Memorial Library in Elkhorn, Wisconsin, has a proud history of serving the residents of Elkhorn and Walworth County, and we\u2019re pleased to announce a new opportunity to join our team! We\u2019re looking for a creative and diligent person to serve as our Circulation Associate.<\/p>\n

The Circulation Associate reports directly to the Circulation Supervisor, and assists them in the management of our circulation department, and the administrative needs of our staff. Duties include training and supervising our library assistants, and helping the Circulation Supervisor with department goals. For those with management aspirations, this is a great opportunity to receive training and experience. In addition, this position will be a part of our Marketing Team and will work on designing flyers, displays and other promotional materials.<\/p>\n

Minimum Qualifications
\n\u2022 High school diploma is required.
\n\u2022 Previous library experience is strongly preferred.
\n\u2022 Familiarity with SirsiDynix, or a similar Integrated Library System (ILS) is beneficial.
\n\u2022 Familiarity with marketing tools such as Canva is beneficial.<\/p>\n

This is a 30 hour per week position. The required schedule would be:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Mondays, 1pm-8pm
\n\u2022 Tuesdays, 8am-2pm
\n\u2022 Wednesdays, 8am-12pm
\n\u2022 Thursdays, 8am-4pm
\n\u2022 Fridays, 8am-1pm<\/p>\n

In addition, this position will be a part of the regular Saturday rotation, with time off given during the preceding week.<\/p>\n

Salary Range for this 30-hour position is $18.95-$19.72 hourly, depending on experience and qualifications. The city of Elkhorn offers a comprehensive benefits package, including a health insurance plan, dental insurance, a retirement plan (WRS), life insurance, up to 12 paid holidays, and accrued paid time off (PTO). Health, Life, and Dental benefits for this 30-hour position would be on a prorated basis.<\/p>\n
