Study Rooms –\u00a0<\/strong>Matheson Memorial Library has three study rooms that seat 1-4 people. Each study room has a white board for use by patrons.\u00a0Study room kits can be checked out from the information desk and include a key to one of the three rooms. Dry erase markers and erasers are available upon request. Study rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis.<\/p>\n Please note that Study Room C is set up to accommodate nursing mothers. This is an exception to the first-come, first-served rule, and mothers are encouraged to call ahead and reserve this room for this purpose.\u00a0 Priority will be given to nursing mothers for use of Study Room C; if a group is displaced because of this, we’ll make every effort to find them a different space.<\/b><\/em><\/p>\n The Mary Bray Room<\/strong> on the upper level seats 16 and is used primarily by the Walworth County Genealogical Society, which is a library within our library. This room is also used by the library’s book discussion groups and the Blue Lotus Meditation group. Municipal, state, federal, and other nonprofit groups can reserve the Mary Bray room with the library’s approval. Please call (262) 723-2678 to request this space.<\/p>\n The Friends Room\u00a0<\/strong>on the upper level was built with the financial assistance of the Friends of the Matheson Memorial Library, and is used for their monthly board meetings. It is also used for monthly meetings by the Library Board, the Library Foundation, and several other service groups and library programs. It features modular furniture, a built-in projector, and can accommodate 20 attendees. Municipal, state, federal, and other nonprofit groups can reserve the Friends Room with the library’s approval. Please call (262) 723-2678 to request this space.<\/p>\n The Community Center<\/strong>, which is adjacent to the Library, is available for nonprofit groups and private family gathering for a rental fee.
