These conditions may include, but are not exclusive to: lightning, torrential rains, high winds, flooding, and severe snow and/or ice. The primary factor of any decision made will be the safety of the library patrons and the staff. However, maximum effort will be made to maintain regular library operating hours. Weather and Emergency closings for the Matheson Memorial Library will be announced via media outlets managed by WTMJ, WITI, WCIU, and WISN networks.

2026 Closure Dates

Wednesday, November 25th: close at 5:30 PM

Thursday, November 26th

Friday, November 27th

Thursday, December 24th

Friday, December 25th

Thursday, December 31st

Friday, January 1st 2027

2027 Closure Dates

Friday, January 1st

Friday, March 26th

Friday, April 30th

Monday, May 31st

Monday, July 5th

Monday, September 6th

Friday, October 8th

Wednesday, November 24th: close at 5:30pm

Thursday, November 25th

Friday, November 26th

Thursday, December 23rd

Friday, December 24th

Saturday, December 25th

Thursday, December 30th

Friday, December 31st

Saturday, January 1st, 2028

["post-21","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry
["GET
