{"id":15,"date":"2012-01-27T20:56:53","date_gmt":"2012-01-27T20:56:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.elkhorn.lib.wi.us\/wordpress\/?page_id=15"},"modified":"2025-05-20T08:22:47","modified_gmt":"2025-05-20T14:22:47","slug":"board-of-trustees","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.elkhorn.lib.wi.us\/wordpress\/about-us\/board-of-trustees\/","title":{"rendered":"Board of Trustees"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"left\">The library is led by a seven-member Board of Trustees who are appointed by the Mayor of Elkhorn and Walworth County for a term of three years.\u00a0 In addition, a member of the City Council and the School District is appointed to serve as liaison to the Library Board.\u00a0 The board elects new officers every May to serve for the next 12 months.\u00a0 The MML Board of Trustees generally meets on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 6 p.m. in the Friends Room on the upper level of the library. The public is invited to attend these open meetings.
